A new GP MX team sponsored by ProX this season: CHAMP KTM Team. This young team exist of MX2 riders Jeremy van Horebeek(BE), Joel Roelants(BE) and Francisco Jose Millan Diaz(ES).
At age 16 Jeremy ‘The Jerre’ van Horebeek already reached the 11th place in the European Championship MX2 of 2005 which he exceeded the following year with a 5th place. In 2007 he started to race with the big guys during the MX2 World Championship which he closed with a 16th place. During that same season he became also the Belgian champion MX2 and reached a very good 3rd place at the MXDN at Budds Creek US.
Also Joel Roelants has already an impressive résumé: Junior World Champion MX2 in 2006 together with a very good 3rd place in the European Championship MX2 and 2nd in the Belgian Championship MX2. This all resulted in a 1st place at the end of the Dutch Open Championship MX2 in 2007.
Francisco Jose Millan Diaz is the eldest rider in this team and achieved a 3rd place in the European Championship 85 cc before. He has been signed to the CHAMP KTM Team to gain more experience in a worldwide challenge.
The GP season of 2008 started with some heavy falls for both Jeremy as Joel, but they are already back in place and speeding up to reach the best positions in the World Championship MX2 2008!
